Listening skills have always attracted a great level of interest. For example, in many exams at universities listening skills are a core component of second language proficiency. Today although students experience global listening by listening to songs or watching movies, they have difficulties in doing the listening sections of the exams they take. Even students at intermediate level consider listening as a problem. Though they are able to communicate, they think that listening sections of the exams are more complicated than other sections. At this point, the need to improve students’ listening competences emerges.
